Bracelet Sizing Guide
Buying a bracelet, especially online, can be tricky. How do you know which size to order, how the chain will sit, or how the bracelet will drape? All these details make a difference to the overall look. I’m here to help with exactly these sorts of details. I hope this guide answers your questions, but if you need any more advice, just contact me and ask. I'm here to help.
The bracelets I make all include an extension chain, so although I offer three sizes, Small, Medium and Large, each provides a range that allows you to wear the piece as best suits you. If you'd prefer a specific length without an extension, just let me know. One of the many benefits of buying handmade from a small business is that I can adjust your individual piece while I'm making it by hand!
My standard adjustable bracelet lengths, including the extension chain, are:
- Small: 13–17 cm
- Medium: 17–21 cm
- Large: 21–26 cm
If you have a specific size request, just drop me a line and I'll be happy to help.
Choose your size using your wrist measurement and preferred fit, following the guidance below.
To begin, work out the right bracelet length using one of these methods:
1 - If you already have a bracelet that fits well, simply lay it flat and measure it with a ruler. This method works for flexible chain bracelets.
2 - Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist where you would like the bracelet to sit. Keep it comfortably snug, but not tight.
3 - If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string, mark where the ends meet, then measure it against a ruler.
A little advice on fit: for a close fit, add 0.5–1 cm to your wrist measurement, taking care not to make it too tight. For a comfortable fit, add 1–1.5 cm. If you prefer a looser fit, add 1.5–2 cm.
Please check the measurements given on each individual listing, as every piece is handmade and sizes may vary slightly. If you're unsure, drop me a line and I'll be happy to help.
