Grár — Old Norse for grey, the colour where silver meets shadow — is a one-of-a-kind necklace born from a chance find in a tiny stone shop in Corfe Castle, Dorset.
A polished amethyst, deep violet with natural variation, is wire wrapped by hand and suspended from a single knit chain of silver-plated copper wire, each loop woven by hand using the ancient Viking weave technique. The chain is finished with rhodium silver-plated end caps and a silver-plated bolt ring clasp.
